The updated Review Objections tool has launched! As you look over the new Review Objections you will notice some significant changes in the appearance of the tool…
The most significant change you will notice is that when you click the “Judge” button you are brought to a pop-up screen with the list of objections still visible in the background. In the pop-up screen you will see the same information that you were brought to in the old page, the objection details, message details, and the message along with the judgment buttons.
Another change you will undoubtedly notice is that we have changed the judgment buttons. You now have the choice to “Delete Message” (vs. Accept), “Reject” or “Unlock.” These buttons all hold the same functions as they did in the old tools; choosing “Delete Message” will remove the objectionable message from the message board, and remove the objection from the queue, “Reject” will not remove the message from the message board, but will remove the objection from the queue, and “Unlock” will leave the objection as it is, still in the queue.
You will also still have the ability to click on the subject of the message and be brought to a new page displaying the message in the board where it is posted, once here you can edit or move the message. Similarly, when you click on the author you will be brought to a new page where you can see all of the posts listed under that username.
As a reminder…if you encounter issues or run across something that appears to be broken, please report it via the RootsWeb Helpdesk:
