RATHER than saving the "record" (which is information Ancestry obtained from other websites) to a tree, the ONLY option should be a link to the source website. [In the process, you may have to educate your tree owners a little more: like a child is taught "No, you can't take something without permission" so too do Ancestry users need to be taught not to take without asking...]
In other words: no 'saving records' for information Ancestry indexed from another site. As you admitted in the other thread on this board, Ancestry had "crawled" several hundred pages of a group without asking permission, notifying, alerting them, nothing to them whatsoever. That speaks volumes about Ancestry. Ancestry itself needs to learn that same childhood lesson: Don't take without asking.
