Supposedly my gggrandmother was taken from Guinea. She was about 12 or 13 yrs. old at the time. She had two sons at a certain time Howard (My ggrandfather) and George. Howard was sold away from his family and never knew what happened to them. William Howard Fields was born in Missouri and was sold 3 times in New Orleans. my mam said that some of her relatives she was sure were from guinea, can anyone help.

Back in the age of slavery a prince named Ibrahima Sory Barry was captured from the kingdom of Fouta Diallon(GUINEA-West AFRICA).Iheard that he went back to Liberia.Iwould like to have informatios about slaves they sent to Liberia ro any record of BARRY from the west coast of Africa.

I believe great great great grandmother Mam Bellie was born in Guinea and taken as a slave to Dominca in the West Indies. I am not sure of spelling.
