I am urgently looking for more information on my O'Hagan side of the family.

My great-grandfather was called James Edward O'Hagan, who to my knowledge, arrived in Port Elizabeth, South Africa in 1881 on board a ship from England. According to my father, James was originally from Belfast, Northern Ireland. James' wife was called Alice Stokes, who originally came from Glasgow, Scotland. I am not sure at all whether the two were married already and arrived together or whether they met in South Africa and married there.

My grandmother is Esme Emerant O'Hagan, daughter of James and one of 13 children in total. She married Matthys Gerhardus Potgieter in the Eastern Cape. I have the names of all of the 13 children and some of their children, but that is where it ends. I also have no idea about my great-great-grandparents.
