Yes, I have found a lot of the ship passenger lists are very basic and in many cases just an initial and surname.

I'm thinking perhaps the marriage took place in South Africa - if indeed it did take place at all.

I've been researching Joseph for about six years now and so far have been unable to confirm nothing. I know he existed but that's about it!!!

This Twigg family may not even be associated with him, there were just a few coincidences that led me down this path.

Frustratingly perhaps I'll never know.... which would be a great shame.
