I would be very grateful to anyone who can tell me how to source South African death records and any steps required to make this an easy transaction.
I am looking for the death of Alexander Campbell Smith McLeod who may or may not have died somewhere in South Africa between 1948 and 1958. ACS was born in Australia, a mining engineer and family tradition has it he went to South Africa at the end of WW2. He was tin mining in Thailand prior to the war and was interned at Changi during the Japanese occupation of Singapore. I hate people disappearing on me!

Cheers
Elizabeth
