Hello, I am researching family , and Our ancestor Alfred Denny Lowe, who was born Feb 14, 1863 in Uffington England, died Oct 19, 1909 at his home on Bubbling Well Rd . His remains were buried in Bubbling Well Rd Cemetery. I was hoping, , really hoping to one day be able to get a picture of the cemetery and his tombstone. Recently it was made known to me that during the cultural revolution, the Chinese were encouraged to destroy anything having to do with imperialism and this included the cemetery. I now must question where all the people that were buried there are now? I hope they were moved and re-interred and if not, then what? Is there any records or any way to find out where he might be buried now? This is disturbing.
