I am trying to get information for my daughter in law concerning her maternal grandmother. The only information I have is - Her name was Chieko, She was born 9/5/1932 in Japan, Married a G I Named Robert Leroy Weir, was on Pan Am flight 864/15 from Tokyo to San Francisco 15 Aug 1957 and died in California on 2/5/2004. She was divorced from Robert Weir at sometime before her death ans was never remarried as far as I know.

I have never tried getting any immigration info before and am lost with Japanese heritage. Any suggestions on how to get more information about her life pre 1957?
