Surnames: Sagawinia Sakayama Sakaniwa
I was just given information that my Grandfather might of been in a Japanese Internment camp in Kansas. Not other research has gotten me anywhere to date.
How does one go about finding a list of the names of the families that were in these camps?
He died under the name of Sagawinia. However I was told name changes were common. Was suggested his real last name could of been spelt.. Sakayama or Sakaniwa.
Having a problem finding anywhere to do any kind of research on Japanese families.
