What about the more recent history of Japanese occupation? Is it not true that many records were burned in towns that had many Underground forces? In the example of our ancestor, Delfin Pino, he was killed by the Japanese along with all of his male relatives. His house was burned to the ground, according to the family story. Would there be any hope of recovering any records from his home town? I have not been able to find any online so far.
