Sorry, maybe I should've asked where does your light complected features come from. Your father's side or your mother's side. But you mentioned 2 grandmothers, so both of your grandfathers are from the same place?
But my point in asking was that maybe you had a recent ancestor and/or the people in the town have been intermarrying for generations in order for genetic traits such as you described to appear. In other words, people would have to look like they have recent foreign ancestor but in many cases of say people literally intermarrying a European, they'll see that these features aren't always easily seen, which is known as phenotype. But I asked because I thought maybe the genes have been in a select group of people for generations.
In either case, you now have 2 different areas to search for previous ancestors. You definitely will not go back prior to the 1700s unless your family comes from an old town like my grandmother's and whose church records goes beyond the 1600s. I thought i read that my grandmother's town's church was built in the 1600s, the 4th one (supposedly) built in the Philippines, or something like that. Not sure about that. All I know is that their records being in the 1840s and that was enough for me to trace people living in the 1700s.
