And also, are both of your parents from the same town? Which town is it? And are there others with similar features of that town?

I heard the same with a semi-distant cousin of ours. He's actually a 2nd cousin to my father, but my aunt told me that when this cousin went to see where his mother (and my grandmother) was from, that many of his relatives had blond hair blue eyes. I laughed of course, thought it was exaggerated.

But not until years later I realized, that I'm certain it wasn't on our side of our family, but another side of his family. And I've seen photos of the people from my grandmother's town. They all look alike! They also look like some of my aunts/uncles, even though only 50% of their DNA would be similar to those people from that town my grandmother was from.
