Latvian Ancestors

Surnames: Grodin, Grodinsky, Meltzer, Goldstein, Mitnick
Does anyone out there have information on my family? Max Grodin, b. 1880 in Odessa, married Fanny Meltzer, b. 1882 in Rega, Latvia, in 1928 England. Max & Fanny went on to have 2 children in England and 7 more in the US. I am a grandchild of the youngest of those nine.

Max Grodin's father's name may have been Grodinsky. Max reportedly had sisters that also immigrated to the US. (Max immigrated sometime around 1904.)

Mitnick (paternal) side of family later changed name to Goldstein, many children. I have quite a bit of information on this side but am always looking to fill in the pieces.

Maybe I can help you??
