If you have done DNA testing though FamilyTree DNA and/or 23andme, please consider uploading your DNA information onto http://www.gedmatch.com. If you tested with 23andme, you can see if you match with any FamilyTreeDNA customers and the reverse. This is a free and secure website. People with Russian and Ukrainian ancestry are highly underrepresented in DNA genealogy testing. So uploading your data will help others with Russian and Ukrainian ancestry. It is very easy and explained on Gedmatch.

Not everyone knows about Gedmatch so please spread the word. I have tested with FamilyTreeDNA and Ancestry DNA and I don't have any strong matches after 18 months. Anything that increases my chances for finding distant relatives is a great help. Also, gedcom files can be uploaded to this database.
