Hi unfortunatly these records are not available online. You could contact Jersey Archive or the Société Jersiaise to look it up for you. The certificates can be ordered from the Registrar.

I am a Jersey girl myself! and would not mind looking it up next week for you when I pop to the Société library. Do you know anything else about Charles??

Unfortunately I tried to email the archives there.Someone else had suggested that to me.But I got no reply from them.Maybe they are busy or something Im not sure. But on Charles John{Jean} Le HUquet I dont have much info.He came to NL Canada, and married Martha Ivany May 5 1886.The marriage record states that he was 26 at the time of marriage.I know for sure his related to a sidney because my grandfather had a pic of him amongst his things.I know too that sidney was also older than pop.So sidney would of been born around 1890s or early 1900s.Thats just a guess.I found one that had a brother Walter but other Le huquet researcher have told me that his middle name was Charles Phillip. This is what brought me back here. Now im not sure. This Charles parents were Charles and Mary. And im afraid to put him in my tree. Also too Sidney can be spelled sydney. This is all I have.I appreciate any help.Thx Ann

Hi all an update on my Le Huquets.Charles Johns Le Huquet moved back to Channell Islands with his wife Martha Ivany. It was some after 1900 found a immigration record for 1941 for Chanell Islands,it states that Charles John was born Jan 16 1866. I do think he had a child living there at that time too.My grandfather was sent pics on the same day and they were of too different families.

Charles John LE HUQUET born 16.01.1866 was the son of Philippe LE HUQUET and Mary Ann NOEL. He married 09.09.1901 Rosalie BROUCHARD. He was probably a cousin of Charles Philip.

Hi all.Looking for info on Charles John Le huquet who was born 1866.Mostly need info on any brothers or sisters he may have had.Father Phillippe. And I think Sydney was his son from what I have now figured out.Not a 100 percent sure on that.Charles married a girl Martha from Newfoundland Canada. In 1941 she was living in the home for the infirm and aged women in St Helier. Her birth date is 1863.They lived in Newfoundland for a while but moved back to Channell Islands.I think Sidney{Sydney} had a daughter Rosalie and may have been married to a Gladys. Not 100 percent sure on that either, only a guess because I have a letter written by Sydney. And there was an Immigration record for sydney he applied for it the same time his parents did.So im to assume it may be there son going by the date on the immigration record.Anyone have any info on these people.Would be great.

A Charles John LE HUQUET was buried in St Martin, Jersey on 6 Sept 1941 aged 83y. At that time registration cards were supposed to be removed from the system when someone died, so any card from Jan 1941 is unlikely to have survived. I think that this was Charles J. son of Abraham LE HUQUET and Elizabeth LE BOUTILLIER born about 1857, and that he is more likely to have been the husband of Martha than Charles John (1866) son of Philippe LE HUQUET and Mary Ann NOEL, who I am 99.9% certain married Rosalie/Roselie BROCHARD/BROUCHARD. Charles John (1866) and Rosalie were both still alive in Jan 1941, living in the same house - they married in 1901.

I do have to say this has been my most confusing family in my tree.LOL,Do you have any other info on these people which could give me a clue that it was him for sure.It seems there were alot of Charles at that time. The immigration record I found was for 1941 january.I found one for Charles John,Martha and a Sydney. All for Jan.Heres wishing you luck in your research and thanks alot for all your help.Seeing that theres no Channell Islands sites I can only rely on help from others thx so much.
