I am trying to identity the attached photograph. My best guess is that it is one of my Hewitt family from Cottenham, Cambs.
My Hewitt ancestors (John and Sarah Ann) migrated to Australia in 1888 with their five young children. If this picture is of one of their children the photographer must have been in Cambridge before that year. However it may be a niece or nephew born to the Hewitt's that stayed in Cambridgeshire.
The photo was glued into a photo album and part of the name of the child and photographer was torn away when the photo was removed. It is a photograph smaller than postcard size and has not been printed as a postcard.
The parts that can be read are;
...vitt (handwritten and I'm assuming it is part of Hewitt)
Below that in what appears to be stamped with ink
......NUM's (the letter before the N appears to be B or D)

55, Hinton Avenue
Can anyone help me with a name of the photogragher so that I can try to narrow down the possibilities of who is in the photo?
