I am trying to trace George Hornsby, b. abt 1806 in Cleator, Cumberland.
He moved to Manchester (Hulme) and when 20 he married an Elizabeth Taylor, had 3 known children (2 daughters and a son).
He re-married in abt 1855 to Ann Williams (from Bloomsbury, London), it seems he died abt 1864 and grave is located in Manchester.

I cannot find anything about him relating to Cumberland (Cumbria), records may not be available to find but am so desperate to know anything about him, prior to 1826, such as baptism, birth etc. I would love to find his parents. This has been years trying and waiting.
