I have a 2nd of 3 [three] Great Granddad's Ancestors [God help me], who is a Hawkins Family Member. I would like to see if it is possible to trace his English Family beginnings. In other words go backwards in time from himself and his parents to The Family's Original Origins.
Below is all i can humbly offer any devoted Researchers, from Paid BDM Searches and a very small amount of my own Detective Work :
GREAT GREAT GRANDFATHER GEORGE HENRY Hawkins
BORN: KINGSTON. DORSET. ENGLAND.
A note from Queensland Australia BDM, stated George Henry Hawkins lived 44 Years in Queensland and New.South.Wales. Australia.
This means George Henry Hawkins arrived in New South Wales Australia in approximately 1841/1842 and was about 5 [five] years of age, when He arrived.
He came from Wollongong New South Wales, into Queensland and Married my then Widowed Great Great Grandmother Ada Eliza Couper nee Smith.

BLOOD FEMALE PARENT's First Name or Christian Name : "Charolotte"
BLOOD FEMALE PARENT's Family Name : No Surname / Last Name / Family Name /nee Name Supplied

PLEASE NOTE : See above spelling of Henry Hawkins[Dad of George Henry] own Wife's First Christian Name, this could be a misspelling on Official Historical Queensland Australia's Registry of BDM Paperwork !

This next group of information, is involving both Husband and Wife and particularly where there was anything likened to a Spouse by the name of Charlotte, plus someone already recorded, as a sibling with the first names of George Henry, which is our ancestors correct names recorded here in Qld Australia's BDM Records.
Taking into consideration that they may have only told the visiting UK Census Person only one of two Christian Names may also have been common place back in the UK in the 1800 also.

CONSIDERATIONS : We already knew from our Requested paid BDM Qld Searches that we had a Henry and Charlotte Hawkins, and a Son George Henry.
Unfortunately the DOB of George Henry Hawkins on His Headstone [info above] doesn't quite match with the Census Details above ! ???
Also unfortunately the Qld BDM Historical Records state that George Henry Hawkins came from KINGSTON. Dorset. England. The above Census Records seem to state somewhere else Eastry. Kent. England ??????
It IS possible, I have the wrong Hawkins Family involving the Census !
The other confusing issue is George / George Henry can't have been lived 44 Years in Queensland and New.South.Wales. Australia. As well as showing up on a UK 1861 Census with the above stated age of 22 years old at time of the UK Census. ?????????
Can SOME KINDLY PERSON just to a revision on the available UK Census, and try to find a closer match that the one i have given above, I've been through each household that came up with the Online Searches.
The above is the closest match i could find, unless I optioned something wrongly, and post a reply any further closer likelies. If you kindly can, that would be a big help.
George Henry Hawkins married Ada Eliza Couper nee Ada Smith / Ada Eliza Smith / Eliza Smith, George Henry Hawkins was Ada Eliza's 2nd of 3 [three] Husbands.
Ada Eliza Couper nee Smith married George. Henry. Hawkins on the 13th of February 1878 at Townsville. North Queensland. Australia.
Recorded on a Queensland Registary Historical Death Certificate, are the following Details :
George Henry Hawkins died at Ravenswood Junction [Later called Mingela] North Queensland. Australia.
Date : 14th of Febuary 1886
Age at Time of Death : 49 Years Of Age
His Wife Post Dated him and remarried, She Married a Ryan Clan Family Member, from Australia post George Henry sad Death
Perhaps i'm missing something, or we have the wrong Hawkins Family relating to the Census Info above, can anyone shed any further light on the above matters please. Thank you kindly for any help you can give. God Bless.

A ps. Just as an after thought I did a little general look see at the world wide Hawkins Family Name, can anyone tell me and Our Beloved Forum Members and Guests.
Are the Hawkins Family one Tree world wide or several separate Trees. Lets hope they are all one big Tree [crosses fingers and makes the sign of the cross]
