My ancestor, Nancy Camplin (DAVIES/DAVIS) SEAMAN (b. 07 Jul 1771, ENG; d. 17 May 1860, bath, Somerset, ENG), or her mother, was said by family folklore to have been a "lady of the court" or "hand maiden to the Queen". Both ladies resided in Bath, Somerset, ENG, which I understand was a summer resort of the Royal Family (from time-to-time).
