Surnames: Cousins, Cosens, Cousin, Cose,n Cussans, Cosens

Hello,
I'm trying to find the whereabouts of a place called Paradise, so called in the 1861 census. William Cousins was born there in 1795 as was Barth(olomew?)Cousins in 1797.
Could it possibly be Paradise Pit in Benwell?
