Hi Chris,

William & Eliza HORSEMAN sailed to Sydney NSW Australia aboard the 'Queen Victoria', landed 26th July 1841.

Ernie Hughes in Australia, has already put together a book on the Hughes/Horseman family. Though it was written about 10 years ago. It's in his work, he states William was a Barge Builder in Hartafordshire. Believing he had made a typo, I assumed it was Hertfordshire.

I know William & Eliza were married in London and Eliza Silk EVANS was born in Brierley Hill, Stafford, in 1807.

I know William HORSEMAN was christened at Lambatts Church Surrey, I don't know what year. Though I assume around 1803.

Thanks for the HertsWeb page. I'll certainly be purchasing a few certificates in the new year, so solve this mystery, once and for all.

Kind regards,
Sherrie.
