Sly Kates Hill, Fountains Alley.

My Grandad Anthony Aindow 1886=1907 was born in Sly Kates Hill and the moved to Fountains Alley. I am led to believe that these are not the best area's in the town. I would be greatful for any information on this and any history of Chatham 1800,s 1900,s
