Groombridge Hall

I'm trying to learn more about Groombridge Hall. Apparently it was the ancestral manor house for the Waller family of whom I'm descended. I've located numerous photos and paintings online of the structure as it stands (it is apparently around 300 to 400 years old).

From what I've read, this is actually the second structure, the first dating back much further. The Wallers reaped some of the benefits from the Norman invasion with William the Conqueror. Obviously there are not photos of the first manor house, but I'm curious if anyone might be familiar with any painting or drawing of the original structure.

I'm attaching a painting I found by Charles Gogin.

Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thank you!
