Hi Linda,
If you are still looking, have you found this record from Hucking(e) on Ancestry? Kent, England, Tyler Index to Parish Registers, 1538-1874:

I have been looking for the name Siplett, and wonder if this is the start. Due to the cross-referencing of parental names (Wm & Eliz SYFLEET) it may be that Siplet(t) may have been a branch in Kent, or maybe not. Siplett as a surname seems to be very rare indeed. I have possibly found the burial of a William Siplett among the records available online at Medway Ancestors, so I'm sure Syfleet must be there also.

Good Luck and regards, Howard.
