Surnames: Bligh, Carlton
Greetings,

I have the marriage certificate of Julia Carlton and James Bligh

It states:
Marriage solemnized at Holy Trinity Church in the Parish of
St-Lawrence in the County of Kent

When married: December 25th 1877

James Bligh age 19 Bachelor Labourer residence: Hereson Rd
Father's name: Frederick Bligh Occu: Carpenter
Julia Carlton age 20 Spinster
Father's name: Edward Carlton Occu: Labourer

Witnesses: Fred Bligh & Fanny Maria Carlton

Birth certificate of son born to James and Julia Bligh

James Frederick Bligh born 16th September 1882 (my gr grandfather)

Trying to find connections backwards either to Cornwall or
to Ireland. Senior generation says our Bligh line comes from
Cornwall. I'm trying to find evidence of that. Also interested in the Carltons and where they came from.

Please note new e-mail address: ethereal22@home.com

Thanks for any help.:)
