I saw your 1999 Mortimer posting: I have a Mary Ann Mortimer who married James Taylor; she was born Boughton Monchelsea about 1819; James was born Marden, Kent about 1822. I don't know who her parents were. Mary Ann was one of my maternal gggrandmothers! Since your people are also from that area of Kent, do you sense any connection??
Thanks
John
