I am searching for information on my grandparents, Joseph and Victoria Reding.
Joseph was born about 1900, d. about 1970-1971.
He married Victoria(maiden name unknown) before or about 1925.
They had 3 children: Joan, b. about 1925, d. 1970-1976
Alan, b. about 1929, d. 1953-1957 Leukemia(served in Royal Navy), and my mother Margaret, b. 25 July 1933.
Victoria, I believe, passed away sometime about 1933 shortly after my mother was born from TB or diptheria...not sure.
Joseph then married Edith Roebottom and they had a son named Peter who was afflicted with Cerebral Palsy or Muscular Dystrophy or something. He died before reaching manhood.
Joseph had a brother named Clifford Reding and a sister named Christine. Clifford married Pearl and they had one son, Terry. They lived in Brampton, Ontario, Canada in the late 1960's to early 1970's until their deaths. I'm not sure when they moved there.
I'm not sure what Christine's married name was...and I believe there may have been another sister who moved to Australia and lived there the rest of her life.
I know that at the time of my grandfather's death, (Joseph), he and Edith were members of the Jehovah's Witness Church.
That is all of the information I have...Does this mean anything to anyone...I've been looking for information on this family for a very long time.
Thank you,
Marie Sellers
