Hello Julie,
Thank you so much for writing! It's always a pleasure to hear from others who share my appreciation of Jennie Harbour's work. You description of her black and whites sums up my feelings exactly! Thank you so much for your generous offer of these illustrations, however, I do have a collection of these at hand. Right now, I am trying to find an original copy of Hans Andersen's Stories, containing her illustrations. This seems to be the rarest of all her books, as unlike her others, I believe it was never reprinted in her lifetime. I was fortunate to see an original (in pristine condition) of the book you have, at The British Library in London, while researching her work. I can only say that in my opinion, her work is mesmerizing! Are you also familiar with her series of postcards and decorative prints, which she also made for Raphael Tuck? Some of them are on my website. I would love to share more with you and look forward to hearing from you again. Please feel free to contact me at

With much appreciation and valued friendship,
