Hi there
Thanks for getting back to me. I believe that James Barnard b 1832 was the son of William Barnard & Ann Sexton and the brother of Robert b 1835. William & Ann were my gr gr gr grandparents and Robert was my gr gr grandfather. I have lots of information on the Barnards. My mum's mother was Alice Barnard the daughter of Harry Barnard & Mary Ann Caroline Johnson. Harry was the son of Robert Barnard & Mary SPringall.
I do work sideways for ancestors which brought me to James & Harriet and their children. It was quite upsetting to find that 4 of their children died within weeks of each other. Do you have any idea what caused the deaths?

I guess I will eventually send for a d c for one of them...of course they may not have died of the same thing. I did inquire if there had been an epidemic at that time but it seems not.
I'd love to hear from you if you are interested. I have d c for William & Ann and my direct line. Alao the date of their wedding in Coltishall.
