After looking at Lake Johnson and other JOHNSON father that had sons named James in NORFOLK I realized this wasn't going to be an easy search.
Though many have offer Lake as the father I'm looking
for, I have to question it. Anything is possible, so I don't altogether discard the idea.
Looking in the 1851 census, I found James living with the
Neal/Neale/Neil family as their house servant and manager.
I questioned it until I found his Harriet was listed as one
of the children of the Head. Later census confirm she was
his wife, but not at the time.
In at least four different JAMES JOHNSONs were listed
in the 1851 census, with four different fathers & mothers
including Lake Johnson. One father was named Charles,
which was the name of James first son. All had familiar
given names. Than it James listed with the Neal Family,
and another having him somwhere else.
I'm looking in Lake right now, but not knowing the
locations of the village- towns-etc, listed with all the differents 1851 census' fathers of a JAMES Johnson, it's had
to know which one to go after. It would be easier if there
wasn't a time limit of the use of the library computers.
I THANK EVERYONE WHO IS HELPING WITH THIS SEARCH!.
It's on my first husbands family that I'm decided to
research since my kids have found all kind of all pictures,
fortunatly with their names on them.
THANKS AGAIN
