Hello,

I am descended from James Rowland who came to the USA in 1635 from Surrey, England. Before that, his line started in Norfolk, England in the 1400's. Beyond that there are no records. Would anyone know where the Rowland family in Norfolk came from at that time or which "Rowlands" I'm looking at? Local histories, family tall tales, etc.? Thanks.
