I am just beginning to work on this family. Sarah, one of the surviving children is my great, great grandmother. She married Moses Goodwin and had 10 children including my great grandmother, Lillian Goodwin, who married Robert Jones. I just came across a photo of Sarah. I plan to scan it and add it to our tree. Lillian was born in New York. At some point, Sarah and Moses came to Ohio. They are buried in New Philadelphia, Ohio. Lillian and her husband are buried in Mineral City, Ohio.

According to this passenger list on Ancestry, Rebecca's daughter (age 19) was a passenger. The younger Rebecca was born in 1834, a year after her parents married. It may be safe to say she was their oldest. The next on the passenger list were James and Elizabeth, both 18. Then, it skips to Sarah, age 13. Perhaps there were children between these that stayed. The other children listed as passengers were 12, 11, 11, 10, 9 7 and 6. If I read the list correctly, both Rebeccas and the three youngest children died. I don't have any other info. I would particularly like to know where the children ended up after the tragedy and also more about their father, James.
