James Henry Garner, a Primitive Methodist minister, was born 12 January 1805 Kings Lynn, Norfolk, Eng. He married Rebecca Cole, dau. of Anthony Cole and Sarah Jermyn. He died 17 September 1849. His parents were John Garner and Elizabeth Chaplain. After his death his widow, Rebecca, and her children sailed for America. A storm came up just as they were nearing New York City and Rebecca (Cole) Garner and several of her children drowned. It is thought that some of the older children stayed in England. I would like to know who they were. Rebecca (Cole) Garner was born 1815 in Earsham, Suffolk, but she was married in Great Yarmouth, Norfolk in 1833. Will be glad to exchange information.
