Thank you for taking the time to look this up for me I appreciate it. Yes we've always had the "E" problem with our name..which was confused further by different spelling in various census' and also two different spelling of the name in the same family bible.
Yes it does help a little. But also gives more questions to answer(which is usualy the case lol).
Where were they prior to 1795?. I have a feeling through various research recently that they originaly came from Berkshire but which parish I'm not certain. I would presume at this point also that Thomas would be the father of George although I'm not sure the gap between dates would add up. I realise that women in those days
could be bearing children in a marriage for up to twenty years although over twenty years seems less likely. That being the case..what relationship is Thomas to George?..ahh questions questions lol..Thanks again Margaret!!
