Hi there,

I know your post was quite a while ago, so I don't know if you've found the information you needed, but I might be able to help. I live about ten minutes away from Mapledurham House, which was owned during the English Civil War by Sir Charles Blount. I have the guidebook for the house, and at the back is a family tree tracing the line back to around the 1200s.

The Richard you mention, who is listed as born in 1564 and dying in 1628, was married twice. First, to Cecily Baker (d.1619). Two children are listed (I presume the others were omitted for the purposes of only showing the direct line in the guidebook).

They were:
1) Sir Charles (1598-1644)
2) William (d.1676).

Richard's second marriage was to a woman named Elizabeth Moore, but no information on her is given.

If you would like a scanned copy of the tree, I would be happy to email it to you.

Hope this helped. Regards, R.Jones
