Nice to hear from you. There are literally hundreds of Dates with most of them having roots in Somerset, England. My great grandfather Thomas was born in East Quantoxhead, Somerset in 1816, My grandfather Barnett in the same locale in 1849, my father Percival in Glasgow in 1894 and then me in 1932.

I emigrated to Canada in 1964 and am currently retired here in Ottawa. Contacts I've had have hailed from Victoria, Australia, Los Angeles and 2 from Bristol England and there has been some linkages between all of them back to Somerset.
