i discovered that my grandmother who i never new died in west croydon hospital in 1935 age 38.she was at that time called josaphine mary cripps and was married to a william cripps of 123 dennett road croydon west. he was i believe a waitor at a restaurant. i can not trace where or when they got married and can find no trace of william after 1935. please can you help me/ god bless if you can, as i have tried everything, but found very little. i know my grandmother was in birmingham in 1922, but how she met william or got to croydon i do not know, as she must have been having a very hard time as she gave my father u7p for addoption and he died not knowing he had any familey. thank you if you can try tony davies
