Sorry I haven't replied sooner but I have not been signed up with Ancestry for some time, however, I have managed to look at my messages. You may not still be on here either. Anyway, any Campey information would be great. I did find out that Sarah Jane Waters Colley became a Campey when she married John Campey of Monk Fryston. Her parents were actually from Spalding, Lincs - her father being a master mariner. All of Sarah's children were born in the Hull district, apart from my gt gt grandmother Alice who was born in Newcastle - why that was I have no idea, there doesn't seem to be a link at all. Any info you have would be appreciated. Many thanks. Mandy
