Ann,
thanks for the information. I ran across some listings at this website: http://www.clarelibrary.ie/eolas/coclare/history/cromwell_se... At this site is info for the survey done in Clare County and settlement-including listings for those who gave up lands to whom. And like I have found in my research there are listings for land held in trust for the '49 Officers for the '49 arrears. I wondered if any other county had put this online like Clare. It is also my undersanding for the 1649 Officers-Protestant Royalist against Cromwellian ideology-that it wss the Restoration Acts-under Charles II, I believe the act was in 1660 after he was restored that he recognized those who remained Loyal. I have found the British Calendars of State Papers concerning Ireland at openlibrary. The Public Records for Ireland were burnt so I assumed like for America-a colony at that time like Ireland-papers would be there. And they are. It is just going through all the Calendars and records at the National Archives in London. Thanks Cindy
