Surnames: MERRITT
Kathy, yes I think we have talked before. Our Moses was in Washington, PA in 1790 census listed near the other Merritt.
David's first test was with FAMILY TREE DNA, out of Houston, TX. Just reason he did an Ancestry.com DNA and we got the following results;
Scandinavian 62% (Norway, Sweden, Denmark)
British Isles 19% (England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales)
Southern European 13% (Italy, Spain, Portugal)Persian/Turkish/Caucasus 6% (Georgia, Armenia, Iran, Turkey, Azerbaijan)
Now these finding goes back hundred and maybe thousands of years. This was a great surprise to us. He may have Viking blood.
