Classification: Query
Someone was inquiring about James Woodside. I checked with the IreAtlas Townland database:
http://www.seanruad.com/

Yes, there is a Carnaff in Co. Antrim. It is a townland of 268 acres in the civil parish of Derrykeighan, poor law union of Ballymoney. Townlands usually contain many small villages or towns.

Hope this helps to answer your question.

For your information, the land survey above was completed in 1876 and first published in a London book in that year.

WOODSIDE

James Woodside (Carnaff) - property valued at 12 pounds 5 shillings in 1876.

Robert Woodside (Ballycastle) - property valued at 225 pounds 5 shillings in 1876.

Robert Woodside (Ballynure) - property valued at 28 pounds 10 shillings in 1876.
