Marion Monteith first married John Taylor in Edinburgh in 1808. She had three children (the last born c1816).

At the time of her second marriage in Edinburgh in 1822, she was a Relic of first husband John Taylor, who was listed as 'distiller, Newry'.

I can only assume the Newry mentioned is the one in Nth Ireland. Are there any records available that could pin my John Taylor to Ireland before he died?
