Hi! There may not be a connection to the Woods family that I am searching for however perhaps in your search you may have come across some information on them.
My grandmother's older brother Thomas Featherstone married a lady named Bertha Woods on May the 18th, 1889 at her place of residence "Carleton Place, Ont." The service was performed by Rev. D. McDonald and they were listed as Episcopalian which may well have been correct for Bertha Woods but in the case of Thomas, it should have stated Church of England.
Bertha aged 17 (born Yorkshire, Eng.) was the daughter of Peter and & (possibly Tabitha) Woods.
Their marriage was witnessed by John & Eliza Jane Swan.
Thomas Featherstone died at a relatively young age so it is entirely possible that Bertha remarried.
If in your search, you may have come across some reference at all to any of these folks, I'd love to hear from you. I'd love to know whether or not they had any children etc.
Thankyou so much for your time.
