I have very little information on my John McNeely. They seem to be born about the same time, 1798. He had married Ellenor Mathison who died in 1846. According to the 1851 Census he was a Presbyterian, a farmer, living in a log house in Div. 2, Conc,. 7, Lot 1 in Battersea, Storrington Twp, Ontario. He may have had more children but I know of only two - Ellenor McNeely who married William Shannon and John McNeely who married Sarah Stinson.

So far, it sounds as though they are two different people, but who knows ...... ?
