North Irish Birthplace of John McArdle
Looking for the birth place in Northern Ireland of a John McArdle, son of Patrick who emmigrated to South Australia in 1846/7. He was well educated and travelled to Adelaide, South Australia paying for his own fare, carrying a leather bound set of the works of Robbie Burns. He was well educated, fluent in Latin and taught school to children in the farming area where he lived at one point. His children were named Bernard, Frank, Maty Ellen, Bridget, Margaret, James, Susan, Jack and Patrick. We have exhausted all resources here in SA but still none the wiser as to his origins.
