Edward Vaughan was not a property owner in the 1876 landowner list. www.failteromhat.com if he was renting he would be listed.

You can access the Deeds Registry in Dublin but I think its just an in person visit, you could visit their website and find out.

Edward Vaughan is NOT in the 1901 census www.census.nationalarchives.ie

There is no name spelled Vaughan in the Tithe Applotments
1820-1839. Which I find unusual as by the time of Griffith Valuation 1846-1864 there are 455 Vaughan's.

Cork Valuation 1852 and there are 3 Timothy Vaughn's.
