HELEN I DONT THINK THERE IS A CONNECTION BUT IT WAS FUN TRYING.PATRICK IS 60 YEARS OLD IN THE 1900 CENSUS.AS FAR AS NEW ORLEANS I HAVE BEEN THERE AND I HAVE HAD VERY LITTLE LUCK.ALOT OF THE IRISH WHO DIED IN NEW ORLEANS CIRCA 1850 -1853 FROM THE YELLOW FEVER EPIDEMIC RECORDS HAVE EITHER BEEN LOST OR HAVE NONE.I HAVE BEEN TO THE ARCHDIOCESE AND ALL THE OTHER RESOURCES YOU CAN THINK OF.I WILL KEEP ONLOOKING.TRYING TO FIND MY GREAT GREAT GRANDFATHER JOHN HANNAN HANNON AND HIS WIFE CATHERINE (HOGAN)HANNON.JOHN DIED OF YELLOW FEVER AND CATHERINE AND HER SON LAWRENCE MY GREAT GRANFATHER LEFT NEW ORLEANS BETWEEN 1850 AND 1859 I FOUND THEM IN NEW YORK WESTCHESTER COUNTY TOWN OF HARRISON LIVING WITH HER SISTER ANN MCNAMARA AND JAMES .IN THE 1860 CENSUS.CANNOT FIND A CENSUS WITH THEM IN NEW ORLEANS OR EVEN A PASSENGER LIST .THE HANNONS WERE FROM COUNTY CLARE IRELAND. IN THE PARRISH OF KILLALOE THE TOWNLAND WAS SHRAHEEN.I HAVE BEEN TO IRELAND AND HAVE FAMILY STILL LIVING THERE,IF YOU COME ACROSS THE HANNON NAME IN NEW ORLEANS LET ME KNOW.I WILL KEEP LOOKING FOR THE MCNAMARAS.BOB.
