Well I have not had much luck finding other than my own direct family from this area. The following marriages from the Parteen & Meelick parish records relate mostly to people from the townlands of East & West Coonagh. As this is the "parish of the bride" it is not a complete record of all marriages. The Coonagh boys mostly married in other parishes, which means most likely, though not necessarily, the Limerick City parishes. They are difficult to find, but if anyone has such records it would be wonderful indeed. By the way Coonagh is officially in Limerick, but g,g,g grandfather Hickey obviously considered himself from a Clare family and that is what appears on his immigration record and also his tombstone (he emigrated to Hunter Valley, Australia via "Adam Lodge" in 1840). If anyone has information about these people I would be grateful to receive it.

John Hickey, age 32. Ship Herald of the Morning 23rd January 1858.
Patrick, aged 22. Tom, aged 23. Winifred, aged 17. All on the Simmonds, 12th April 1855. Also Jas McNamara aged 24 on the Wallased 27th September 1856.
