Hi Karen,

Thanks very much for your reply. Hers's what I know:

David Haskett (born 1876 Killaoe) had a brother Patrick (who we think was called George) and a brother Martin. Their mother was Anne Haskett (nee Ryan). Anne, David and Martin appear on the 1901 Irish census. Martin went to NY in 1902 and his port entry record lists his mother as Anne Haskett, from Killaloe. He travelled home in 1913, and then back to NY again. On his return journey, he lists George Haskett as his brother.

A "Request for information" for Martin and George appears in the Brooklyn Daily Eagle - 21 Jan 1912. Seems a little ominous to me!

It appears that Martin died in 1915 and George died in 1934.

Martin & George's brother, David, is my great grandfather. He ramained in Killaoe and had sons George and Tom, and a daughter Peg. George was my grandfather.

So if you are related to me, then you are related to David Haskett (Big Davey) and Mary Finucane.

Let me know what you think,

Thanks,

David
