Andrew Guthrie from Clahane, County Clare, Ire. moved to Elmira, NY with at least 7 children after 1878. His wife was probably Biddy (Bridget) Beaky. The first six children were baptized in Liscannor Parish. Mary b 1861, Thomas b. 1866, Bridget b 1870, Patrick b 1873, Michael b 1878 and possibly Delia. Andrew died June 29, 1910. Andrew's sister, Bridget Bolton b 1848 and wife of Patrick Bolton lived next door in Elmira. Also next door was John Guthrie b Oct 1854 and wife Bridget Kelly b Sept. 1852. John and Bridget's children were: Andrew Michael b 1877, Meg (Margaret) b 1880, John Joseph b 1882, Mary Katherine b 1885, Thomas Matthew b 1888, Jennie Frances b 1890,William b 1893 and Ed.
